My posts are going to come out of order for a bit as I finish writing things out and processing them in my own head.
A former Kili guide saw me heading into town (to get some souvenirs) and offered to walk with me to show me arohnd. He's now a student at the local university studying rural improvement/economics, which would be well used in this area.
Anyway, after a few hours and my swollen self needing to be in air conditioning again, I offered him a small tip. He said he woulld accept if I took one of his paintings.
